Empowering Minds: Peer Counselling Training at Kinangop TVC
At Kinangop Technical and Vocational College, we believe that a strong and supportive community is key to academic and personal success. In line with this, the college recently held a two-day Peer Counselling Training aimed at equipping both trainers and trainees with essential counselling skills to foster emotional well-being within the institution.
The training brought together selected peer counsellors from various departments alongside dedicated trainers who serve as mentors and guides. The Mount Kenya West Region TVET Fairs Skills Competition 2025, hosted at Nyeri National Polytechnic, brought together institutions across the region to showcase innovation, skills, and creativity. This was Kinangop Technical and Vocational College’s first time participating and we made a remarkable debut!
